Funny that you mention that... I just went to see Slumdog last night! It was pretty incredible, though I don't know enough about Bollywood film narrative/technique to understand some of the elements in S.M. that seemed forced/cheesy. Great use of M.I.A.'s music too.
Slumdog Millionare wasn't a Bollywood film it was directed by Danny Boyle who directed Trainspotting, 28 Days Late, and my all time favorite The Beach staring Leo Decaprio.
