I recognize how wrong it is to point out the one white kid on the far right side, but I feel like I have to anyways.
His heart is in the right place. I mean, he's voting for Obama.

Mornin Glories...I'm totally ripping this off! Kyle the one white kid might be hispanic...not that it matters of course! I have to wait till tuesday to vote however I like, fortunatley that will give me a few days to learn the song so I can sing in line!!!!
all so deceived...
deceived! one of my co-workers just called me 'deceived' last week in a similarly strange context. i hadn't been called deceived in years! i think there's something in the air.
I have sat around many family tables with anathallo since day 1, and still love and dance to all your music, but I must say that all these politcal changes you have taken on are a real turn off. However, I think I could still love the music no matter what.
I also have a strong political preference (if thats what you want to call it), but as a musician I don't think I could lower my reputaion to such petty squabbling that this or any election would take on. Music is for all people, and although I know your hearts would not allow you to bash another persons political beliefs, I believe that you have a power as musicians that is set on a higher stage. You can be a bright light for people who live in the darkness, and I believe that is a responsibility.
Either way everyone should get out there and vote.
Don't be the next rage against the machine.

I don't understand the whole "Get out and vote" movement. I voted early, and it didn't make me feel good at all, because I bubbled in a ton of names about whom I knew nothing. I think it's a psychological thing. I voted for Akin Akinyemi purely because I saw his name on a sign and thought it was cool. I'm not proud of that. It's making me wonder if maybe we should be a real republic.

Silly! Lambasting the members of Anathallo for being passionately and politically interested is quite unfair. Granted, this is no forum for having any involved dialog, but I do think accusations (e.g. "they're deceived" or "they've stooped to a lower stage") do not help. Let's give ourselves over to understanding each other, as opposed to expectation.
